These terms apply to everyone who uses this website, our free programmes, tools and resources, and a member account. By using the site you agree to them. Training booked by an employer or organisation is covered by our Terms and Conditions for Training Services.
1. Who we are
This website is run by:
- Name: Let's Talk Money

2. Education, not financial advice
Our programmes, tools, calculators and articles teach general money skills. They are not financial, legal or tax advice, and we are not a financial services provider under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS). Calculator results are estimates based on what you enter. Before making a financial decision, speak to a registered financial adviser. See our Disclaimers.
3. Your member account
- Joining is free. Give us correct details and keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Certificates are issued in the name on your account and only when you have completed the programme yourself.
- We may suspend an account that is misused, for example shared, used to copy material, or used to harass others.
- You can close your account at any time under My details, or by emailing us.
4. Our material
The programmes, workbooks, audio, videos, templates, tools and text on this site belong to Let’s Talk Money or our partners. You may use them for your own learning and print templates for your own use. You may not copy, sell, rebrand or train others with them without our written permission. Facilitators and partners use them under their own agreements with us.
5. What you share with us
If you send us a testimonial, photo or story, you confirm it is yours and true, and you allow us to show it on this site and in our reports, as you agreed when you sent it. You can ask us to remove it at any time.
6. Sponsors and other websites
Some free programmes are sponsored. Sponsors never receive your details unless you clearly agree, and you can withdraw that permission under My details. Links to other websites, including sponsors’, are for your convenience; we are not responsible for their content or how they use information you give them directly.
7. Our responsibility
We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be error-free or online. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site or from decisions you make based on general information on it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or other South African law.
8. Privacy
How we collect, use and protect your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, in line with POPIA.
9. Changes and the law
We may update these terms; the date below shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
